The explosion in Information Technology has given rise to a very urgent need for robust Information Security systems. While much active research is taking place in Information Security, there exists immense opportunity for making significant contribution towards this field by all those who have a fundamental interest in engineering and mathematics, which play complementary roles in developing strong Information Security systems.
This three day workshop, handled by eminent research scientists of our country in this area, is intended to provide a comprehensive learning experience in all aspects of Information Security and Cryptography, thereby to promote further research and development in this important area by engineers and mathematicians.
